CATCH REPORTS TO 21st November 2010.

A slight improvement on the Syndicate lake, with reported captures including a 32.10 common to new member John Harding, and a finely proportioned fish to Dave Pearce, a mirror of 24.10. Other details are sparce, due to lack of returns.

As expected with the changeable weather, results from the day ticket water coming in fits & starts. However, Pete Headon did well, with 4 double figure carp to 20.08, almost mirroring his capture of the previous week. Well done to Mark Owen, on the capture of a fine 25lb+ mirror from No 2 swim. A few other smaller fish reported, and a number of sturgeon are know to have been lost.

Anglers are reminded to supply photos, whenever possible please. Also please fill in catch reports, in the cabin log books on both lakes.

We intend to start a specimin league on the day ticket water, with monthly matches. We are looking for 10 anglers, to support this competition, the details of which are available from Dave or Paul. The prize fund will be very attractive, and with three species of fish over 30lbs, two species over 50lbs, it will be unique in the Southwest.

Some readers might wish to know that we will be making our densely stocked holding ponds available to pleasure anglers. Although they are a bit rough & ready at the moment, they do contain carp, tench, specimen perch and  roach, along with some stunning ghost carp to double figures. Please phone for further details.
