CATCH REPORT TO 24th APRIL.
A very reasonable week, with the season ticket lake producing some good fish, including mirrors of 29.00 & 29.08 to Steve Ellison, a common of 21.06 to Brian Male and a 32.08 mirror to Mark Owen. A good trio to Malcolm Best with mirrors of 25.04, 30lbs and 34.08, whilst Dave Leekie took a home grown common of 15.08.

The day ticket lake produced some good catches with Martin Lamburn taking a PB sturgeon of 46.06 and Mark Chambers landing a couple of mid teen commons, but unfortunately losing a 30lb+ catfish at the net. Peter Symons landed a cat of 24.02, Mark Wood took a PB sturgeon of 45.02 and Tyson Norton had mirrors of 13.08, 18.06 & 21.02, the latter being a PB, along with a PB sturgeon of 46.04. Dave Madge landed a mirror of 26.05 and a sturgeon of 47.04, Nigel Rogers had a couple of cats at 11.14 & 19.06. Ian Ross took a mirror of 19.02 and Caroline Rogers had a ghostie of 17.01 plus a PB catfish of 47.02. Stuart Johnson had a ghostie of 16.04, mirror of 16.08 and catfish of 12.08 & 19.10.

CATCH REPORT TO 17th APRIL.

The season ticket lake has produced a few fish this week, topped by a mirror of 39.12 to Mark Owen. Tony Nancarrow has taken one of the two big ghosties, at a new best weight of 30.10, Dave Pierce had mirrors of 23.04 & 25.04, Chris Manifold took a 23.08 common and John Heath landed a common of 23.08.

The day ticket lake has fished well with a sturgeon of 37lbs to Andy Jakes, three commons to 16.01, plus a ghostie of 20.02 to Andy Buchanon, sturgeon of 43lbs to Richard Voisey and 43.04 to Dave Mills. Neil Freeman took five commons to 22.01, plus a mirror of 21.06, but the best result was by Ian Ross, with a PB sturgeon of 48.02 plus commons of 26.13 & 32.04, the latter being a PB for him and new lake record common.

CATCH REPORT TO 10th APRIL.

A very hard week, probably due to the high pressure, although some good fish from the day ticket water. One of our very capable regulars, Andy Buchanon, did well again, with Sturgeon of 39.14, 44.15 & 45.02, a cat of 10lbs, ghostie of 9.12, mirror of 19.02 and commons of 21.02 & 21.06. Ted Crocker took a 20lb+ cat and a 26.02 mirror, Craig Peters had a mirror of 22.10 and Stuart Johnson did a PB cat of 48.08, plus a pretty fully scaled mirror of 12.10.

On the syndicate water, none of the big fish have been reported this week, but Mark Bailey landed a mirror of 23.10, Matt Holland had a 17.02 common, Pete Newmarch had a 25.12 common and Dave Pierce took a 23.04.

On Amiees Pool, Martin Lamburn had a good bag of carp, totalling over 50lbs.

CATCH REPORT TO 3rd APRIL.

A new record catfish and a PB from the day ticket lake, in the form of a 66lb catfish to Joe Biddlecombe. The fish was taken on a mixed meat & fish bait, over a bed of halibut oil pellets, and Joe also landed a common of 18.10. Tony Latter had a catfish of 18.09, Pete Joint took a sturgeon of 45.08, and Wayne Scotney landed a sturgeon of 46lbs, plus a 6lb eel.

Livening up somewhat on the syndicate lake, with reports showing Martin Thacker taking a 34lb mirror, Chris Woodgate with a 34lb common, Ian Grant with a 24lb mirror and new member Brian Male with a 23.03 mirror. After a longish lean spell, Mark Bailey landed a 23.04 common, Trevor Picton took a 21.08 mirror and another new member, Matt had a 17.02 common. A surprise capture was an eel of 7.10 to Tony Nancarrow, but the best result of the week must be Steve Ellison with a mirror of 21lb and commons of 28lb and 36.04. Photos will be added as they become available.

Amiees Pool produced a mixed bag of 28lbs to John Pierce and father & son team of Neil & Peter Fordham had bags of 32lbs & 25lbs respectively.
