CATCH REPORTS TO 26th JUNE.

Better catches now the fish seem to have got spawning out of their systems, although, predictably, weights are noticeably down. Reported catches on the season ticket lake include, a 31.06 PB mirror to Jason Edwards and a 30.07 common to Mark Owen. Other catches logged are a 28.04 ghostie and 22lb mirror to Steve Burgess, 21lb & 22.04 commons to Chris Woodgate and a 19lb common to Dave Reekie.

The day ticket lake has produced a good number of fish this week, the best result being to Andy Buchanon who landed 11 carp, with mirrors to 32.14 and commons to 22.12. Mike Body took a mirror of 19.15 and a common of 19.03 Andy Summer Hayes took commons of 24.12 & 11.04, but dropped two other carp,  and Brett Palmer had mirrors of 26.02 & 30.04, a new PB for him. A couple of decent catfish, with a 46 pounder to Andy Blackwell and 37.14 to Daniel Gay.

CATCH REPORTS TO 19th JUNE.

Both main waters are still hard, due to on & off spawning activities, but the season ticket water is picking up a little, with Martin Thacker taking a common of 27.12, Gareth Hazledene with a mirror of 29.08, and Dave Reekie with a trio of a 16.00 common and mirrors of 23.02 & 27.00. Best fish reported this week were a mirror of 33.07 to new member Keith Everard, his first from the water, and Matt Holland with a mirror of 30.08, with another two fish lost.

Scratchy on the day ticket water, with a number of mid teen mirrors & commons, a 19.02 common to Chris Baker, 17.04 ghostie to Pete Headon and 21.10 PB common to Russ Bates. Two reasonable catfish have been logged this week, a 47.12 to Lee Ostrowski and a 46.10 to Stuart Johnson, along with an 18.06 mirror. The spawning seems to have finished on both waters now, so catches should now improve.

Aimees Pool has produced a few good mixed bags this week, with 65lbs to Brian Jackson, 35lbs to Paul Beal and 40lbs to Derek Benny. Dans Pool has also fished well for the larger carp, with a 75lb bag to Jamie Parr, 60lbs to Robert Blake, while John Fredericks took 8 carp to 19lbs. Other anglers on both pools are reporting good catches in short sessions, and that the fish are all in excellent condition. Even Dave Lidstone did a short spell on the pools this week, when he caught a few fish and relaxed for a change, a rare occurence.

Construction of the disabled swim on Dans Pool has now been finished, and ready for use, and all fishing platforms are almost completed on both pools.

CATCH REPORTS TO 12th JUNE

Despite a lot of spawning activity, and the main lake closed for a few days, still a very reasonable week. The day ticket lake was most productive, with reported catches including Keith Frewen taking a 21.06 ghost common, Stuart Johnson landing a 42.08 catfish and Andy Buchanon taking commons of 15.12 & 17.04, plus a mirror of 26.12. Lee Sercombe had a 39.03 cat and brother Glynn took a common of 15.06 and a PB tench of 8.01, whilst Wayne Scotney landed a PB cat of 56.02. Other teen carp were; Aaron Lidstone ghost common of 12.04; Barry James mirror of 18.10 and Dave Wood mirror of 16.12 . Best fish from the day ticket water this week was a common of 31.03 by Dan Carey, who also took a ghostie of 17.02 and mirror of 15.08. Pete Amey took a 28lb mirror.

Amiees Pool produced mixed bags of 48lbs to Jamie Parr, 35lbs to Pete Wincroft and 40lbs to Roger Baines. Bill Sabine took an 80lbs bag of the larger carp from Dans Pool.

CATCH REPORT TO 5th JUNE.

The season ticket lake was closed for part of the week, due to spawning. Nevertheless, a few fish were reported, including a new member, Steve Jago, with mirrors of 33.14 and 39.02. Dave Pierce took a common of 24.14 and a mirror of 33.09, and Rob Pierce landed a beautiful golden grassie of 14lbs.

The day ticket water fished well again, with captures including a 44.08 catfish to Simon Burns and a 42.08 catfish and 31.06 common carp to Alan Elliot. Karl Illingworth took a 43.09 catfish, Rob Shann had a 41lb catfish, and Andy Buchanon landed commons of 15.12, 16.02 & 18.12 plus mirrors of 16.02, 19lbs and 28.12. Shaun Martin had a 13.04 common & 24.08 mirror and Mal Jones landed a mirror of 33.04. It is now confirmed that at least ten different carp over 30lbs are in the day ticket water.
