CATCH REPORTS W/E 30th OCTOBER.

DAY TICKET LAKE. Wild, wet & windy weather conditions have again plagued us, making the fishing somewhat difficult. However, some of the guys who have braved the severe conditions were rewarded with some fine captures.

Cornish rods John Hurley and Rob Deacon visited the fishery for the first time John banked two fine commons of 19.06 and 21.10, whilst Rob Landed a 46.06 sturgeon and a superb 26.04 mirror. Justin Mash lost a large fish but did manage a 10.10 mirror and Matt Dadd fished peg 2 for a 14.12 mirror, whilst Dan Newman fished peg 3 and landed a superb 18.12 mirror. Taff Vanstone chose peg 11, and was rewarded with a 41.04 sturgeon, but Paul Courtier has to be our Angler of the Week. The Newton Abbot angler landed four carp, an 18.08 ghostie, 18.02 mirror, 12.02 common and a stunning 19.06 common.
Dave Lidstone our new owner banked a stunning pike of 18.14 on our bottom Lake and has said we will be able to take bookings from seasoned pike anglers, to enjoy some fine virgin pike sport. A good number of large pike, to over 30lbs are known to have been seen and caught over the years. Please phone for further details.

SYNDICATE LAKE. This lake has produced some nice captures, with Gavin Hewitt having a cracking session banking an excellent 32.02 common and a 25.02 mirror. Jamie Mercer banked his new PB a common of 27.12 and on his next visit went on to beat this with a new PB 29.15. common.

Please remember that you have to book in advance and, subject to a number of requests from anglers, we have altered our fishing times to 1000hrs to 1000hrs. Some readers might wish to know that we will be making our densely stocked holding ponds available to pleasure anglers. Although they are a bit rough & ready at the moment, they do contain carp, tench, specimen perch and  roach, along with some stunning ghost carp to double figures. Please phone for further details.
