CATCH REPORT TO 27th MARCH.
Picking up a little now, with more anglers starting to fish. Chris Rogers landed a 35lb common, the third different 35lb+ common this season, and Steve Burgess had a good session with carp of 22lb+, 24lb, 25.06 and 30.01, all mirrors. However, the best result was from Malcolm Best, with a common of 16lb+, a 21.08 fully scaled mirror, and mirrors of 25lb+, 29.04 and 36.08, another fish growing well and rapidly approaching the magical 40lb barrier. Unfortunately Malcolm lost another 3 fish.

The day ticket water has also produced a few fish with Andy Buchanon taking a common of 11.12 and mirror of 26.04 off the top. Scott Farrer took a PB sturgeon of 43.08, and Richard Voisey had the first catfish of the season a PB at 29.08, a nice fish but less than half the size of some cats in the water. Martin Lamburn landed a PB sturgeon of 45.08.
Peter Newton took a mixed bag of 35lbs and Roger Wills had a 38lb bag from Amiees Pool, which along with the other mixed species pools, are all open from 6 am till dusk from 1st April. Just a reminder that your first visit to fish these pools, (and tuition, if required), is free. Thereafter, loyalty cards will be handed out, to give you a free session after every 5 trips.
